Trail Mix Bars

Make your own homemade granola bars! They are a great and healthy snack, full of protein and you can customize them for taste preferences. Using Watkins flavors makes them even better.  Contact me!

Recipe: Trail Mix Bars

You Will Need:

1 cup/250 mL each: roasted peanuts –
unsalted. almonds unsalted
• 1/2 cup/125 mL each: macadamia nuts-
unsalted. hazelnuts unsalted, sunflower seeds
unsalted, pumpkin seeds unsalted
• 1/4 cup/60 mL each: pistachios – unsalted, Watkins
Organic Sesame Seeds
• 3/4 cup/180 mL dried cranberries,
blueberries or cherries
• coconut oil – solid or spray to put on parchment
paper
• 1/2 cup/125 mL local honey
• 1/3 cup/80 mL maple syrup
• 1 tsp/5 mL Watkins All Natural
Original Gourmet Baking Vanilla®
• 1/4 tsp/1.25 mL Watkins Himalayan
Pink Salt
• 1 tsp/5 mL Watkins Organic Ground
Cinnamon
• Optional: 1/4 cup/60 mL
unsweetened chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Place all nuts, dried fruit and chocolate chips into a bowl
  2. Medium heat, combine all other ingredients, bring to boil
    260F/126C. Pour over nut mixture and stir
  3. Spread on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, cover
    with 2nd sheet of parchment and press down to shape
